Now Playing Vinyl Record stand - Pine and walnut stain

This "Now Playing" record stand is handmade from reclaimed wood. It can hold most sizes of record cover.

While listening to records I find it's really fun to have a small stand to display the cover of the record that's currently playing.

This record display stand is made entirely from reclaimed pine.

I cut an angled housing joint into the base to hold the back panel which supports the record cover and a decorative angle on the back edge of the base. Once assembled I added colour to the piece with a lovely walnut stain.

Please note: as the wood is a natural product, the grain pattern and colour can vary from piece to piece. You may not receive the exact same stand as the picture but I promise it will be just as nice!

The lettering is made from pine but unstained to add contrast with the stand. This leaves a bold and beautiful "NOW PLAYING" sign directly under your record cover.

Finally, I gave the entire piece a few coats of varnish to bring out the beauty in the wood's colour and grain as well as adding protection, then a final coat of our shop made beeswax mixture. 

I then attached four small felt feet to the bottom to protect the surface you place it on.
