About The Albayr Woodshop

My name is Paul, I am originally from Scotland but now live in Athens, Greece with my wonderful wife and two amazing daughters. I've had a fascination with carpentry and creativity since I was a child helping out my grandfather making things in his shed. When I was 16 years old I began studying carpentry and joinery at Ayr college (as well as on the job experience with a house building company) and left four years later as a qualified carpenter. Once day I discovered the scroll saw and it changed my life forever. I realised I could combine my love of woodworking with my love of art, so I created The Albayr Woodshop!
