About The Albayr Woodshop

My name is Paul, I am originally from Scotland but moved to Athens, Greece in 2008. I've had a fascination with woodworking and creativity since I was a child helping out my grandfather making things from wood in his shed. When I was 16 years old I began studying carpentry and joinery at Ayr college (as well as on the job experience with a house building company) and left four years later as a qualified carpenter. One day I discovered the scroll saw and it changed my life forever. I realised I could combine my love of woodworking with my love of art, so I created The Albayr Woodshop! I hope you will find something you love but also feel free to also get in touch if you have any custom requests and I would be delighted to work together with you to create it!
